Investigate formal charges against certain US House Republican's for violation of Code of Ethics for Government Service.

According to the HOUSE ETHICS MANUAL 2008 Edition, the 112th Republican Congress is in violation of Code of Ethics for Government Service regarding the signing of Taxpayer Protection Pledge to AMERICANS FOR TAX REFORM, an advocacy group and taxpayer group, signed by 95% of all Republican Members of Congress.

The HOUSE ETHICS MANUAL states:

"Never discriminate unfairly by dispensing special favors;"

"Never accept favors or benefits that might be construed as influencing the performance of governmental duties;"

"Make no private promises binding on the duties of office;"

"Formal charges may be brought against Members of the House for violating this code."
