Thirteen years after 9/11 there are innocent Americans who have been falsely profiled and put on watchlists without being told why and with no access to due process. The local DHS Fusion Centers have brought together local and Federal law enforcement, Military personnel, DOD and DHS Contractors and a citizens militia that have come together in a perfect storm and are isolating, harassing and in some cases physically assaulting innocent citizens for social, personal, ethnic and personal reasons. There has been little to no oversight of the millions of dollars provided to these Fusion Centers. We cannot defeat terrorism if we sponsor it in our local communities. The United States is a great Country and we need to be concerned when criminal activities are condoned and/or sponsored.
