Deutsche Bank has been called "America's Foreclosure King" They have been named as the trustee many foreclosure practice fraud investigations throughout the United States, and have been investigated by the U.S. Justice Dept., and continue to threaten, intimidate, stall, and displace homeowners that seek Government assistance. Through their servicers, such as American Home Mortgage Servicing, they have stalled and lost paperwork, and denied outright qualified U.S. citizens facing foreclosure participation goverment programs such as HAFA, HAMP, and HARP. After foreclosure, they have been known to let properties remain vacant, further devaluing communities and driving up crime. Deutsche Bank has no interest in working with underwater homeowners or those facing hardship to keep their homes.
