investigate the impact of the Fukushima nuclear catastrophe on the health of the people living along the west coast.

On March 11 of 2011, a tsunami triggered by Tohoku Earthquake devastated some regions in northeastern Japan. Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant began to leak radioactive materials into the Pacific on the very next day. Almost three years have passed since the catastrophe. Reports have shown that the Japanese are unable to contain the situation and have allowed tremendous amount of nuclear-contaminated cooling water to be dumped into the Pacific. Now there is credible fear that the radioactive impact has reached the west coast of the United States. In order to protect our environment, economy and the people's health, we strongly urge the Obama Administration to investigate the negative effects of the Fukushima disaster on the well-being of the American people.
