Prior to the 2016 election, FBI Director James Comey may have withheld evidence of Russia’s involvement in the US election, allegedly stating it was too close to the election. Eleven days before the election, Comey informed Congress that the FBI found new evidence relevant to the Hillary Clinton email investigation. Director Comey’s undue influence on the election should be investigated for violation of the Hatch Act. Eight senators on the Intelligence Committee have requested that classified information regarding Russia’s influence on the election be made public. We, the undersigned, request that Director Comey's actions be investigated as a violation of the Hatch Act and demand that Russia's role in influencing the election be investigated fully and made public.
