Investigate the legality of the Fastrack toll lanes in Los Angeles. These roads have already been paid for by taxpayers.

Created by D.T. on April 12, 2013

I challenge the legality of Los Angeles Metro to charge taxpayers a toll to use a taxpayer funded freeway via the Fastrack program. These toll lanes are increasing traffic congestion. The increased commute times lead to increased vehicle carbon emmisions and a lower quality of life for all commuters who use these freeways. I would like transparency as to how much these toll lanes are costing to maintain with such low use rates. It seems that there is absolutely no positive benefit to these lanes.
