Multiple Sclerosis patients are routinely denied benefits from life insurance companies. Repeated attempts for an explanation from companies have resulted in no satisfactory answers. It is extremely difficult to find any life insurance for sufferers of the disease, in spite of the fact that multiple sclerosis is often not fatal--just painful and debilitating. It seems as though discrimination is occuring throughout the life insurance industry. This petition seeks to encourage an investigation of this industry-wide issue and assist in the termination of discrimination against MS patients.
