An investigation into Attorney Michael P. Hugo's theft of Disabled Veteran Wesley Little business records points to a larger story of plotting to manipulate the court system to ensure convictions. Keeping the pressure on Hugo because the evidence shows Little was not guilty of fraud and was heavily sedated when forced to plea at the most critical part of his jury trial. Actions too great to take lying down. Taking a plea sedated is simply a cover.
Besides a cold shoulder from Hugo, the Wake county NC District Attorney's office has hardly lifted a finger to help. Public Defenders did start a letter & phone campaign to compel Hugo to return Little's evidence, but was told that he had the records and moved several times and must find them. To date Hugo's actions have prevented due process.
