Michigan Governor Rick Snyder through his Emergency Manager law, allowed Flint to switch from the Detroit Water System to withdrawing water from the heavily contaminated Flint River to save money. He allowed this to happen for over a year despite numerous warning signs that the drinking water of the Flint residents was unsafe. The lead levels in the water are at dangerous levels and have particularly concerning effects on children living in the city that will have lifelong health problems. His negligence and blatant disinterest in the welfare of Michigan residents is criminal. Please investigate this horrific crime.
