Investigate Microsoft for Anti-Trust issues concerning Xbox repairs and banning of consoles.

Created by H.O. on December 16, 2012

Microsoft bans consoles from using the Xbox Live service, which is paid for by consumers, due to repairs not made by them. All repairs of Xbox systems must go through Microsoft which is an attempt to monopolize. Any repairs should be allowed to be made by any competent person. Illegal modifications are a totally different issue, however basic component changing should be allowed. Replacing a bad DVD drive should be allowed, but Microsoft bans your console forever prohibiting the online service. This is done on millions of PC's without issues. Xbox 360 should be no different. Microsoft will not accept consoles for repair that have been opened. Microsoft's answer is to buy a new console. UNACCEPTABLE.
