Investigate Mylan Pharmaceutical's price gouging on life saving EpiPens!

Created by D.N. on August 24, 2016

The New York Times states that "since 2004, after adjusting for inflation, the price of EpiPens has risen more than 450 percent." This is price gouging, an EpiPen NEEDS TO BE AFFORDABLE!

Bloomberg News reports that in 2007, when Mylan aquired EpiPen the price for the auto injector was $57.
As of today (8/24/16) GoodRx.com, a prescription coupon website for patients paying out-of-pocket, shows prices for a two pack ranging from $614.07- $697. Some patients need two boxes equalling up to $1400 most people can't afford.

People are reduced to either not obtaining their life saving Epi-Pens or buying epinephrine and injecting it via syringe. This is next to impossible to self adminster while in anaphylactic shock.
