There is no shortage of reporting and journalism documenting the vast number of violent shootings in recent history.
The National Rifle Association's response to the Sandy Hook shooting has compelled me to make this petition. This group fetishizes the stockpiling of arms, rather than the safe and responsible use of guns.
We need to stop thinking about them as an advocacy group and starting calling them what they are: a domestic terrorist threat that is holding our government hostage with money and arms.
