The National Rifle Association claims tax exempt, nonprofit status as an educational organization whose main purpose is teaching weapons safety and advocating sportsman's rights.
In truth,they are a lobbying organization. They take in $200 MILLION a year from Firearms Related Companies. They spend more than 2/3 of their income lobbying Congressional and State legislators, interfering in elections and publishing false information.
We ask that the IRS do a complete investigative audit, that Congress investigate their role in crippling the ATF, their intimidation and manipulation of our Representatives, their role in the mass killing sprees through the proliferation of assault weapons and handguns, and that they be charged in Federal Court by the Attorney General for decades of tax fraud.
