Investigate the National Rifle Association's status as a not for profit, tax exempt organization.

The Nationa Rifle Association profits from donations and sale of merchandise. It then uses this profit to support or oppose political positions and candidates in violation of the laws concerning tax exempt organizations. This small group of profiteers buy an unacceptable amount of influence over a clear political issue and prevent the People's government from enacting regulations to protect the lives and safety of the American people. The Government has a very real, clear and compelling interest in enacting laws to protect the health and safety of its citizens. Just as the 1st can be curtailed to prevent yelling "fire" in a theatre to prevent injury/deaths, the 2nd can also be so curtailed to prevent shootings in that very same theatre.
