The NFL (National Football League) is a multi-billion dollar industry that has been operating for many years now. There is a current lawsuit regarding past players suffering concussions and the NFL not addressing the problem. I would like to see the government step in and assure that the NFL is attempting to the highest degree possible to find a solution to the staggering number of concussions and closed head injuries that are and have been happening. As a father with sons who dream of playing in the NFL, I would like to know that devices are being made safer to help the players in preventing head injuries. This investigation could lead to changes being made from the NFL down to the youth level to ensure the number one goal of the sport "safety" not money.
