investigate the over-pricing of health services, and to determine appropriate price caps for health services.

Created by M.G. on February 25, 2013

Health services are routinely being over-charged. The prices charged to private insurance companies are well above what Medicare considers a fair price. The prices charged to people with no insurance is even higher. 60% of Americans filing for bankruptcy do so because of exorbitant medical expenses.

America cannot improve its future if we, as a country and as individuals, are constantly in debt to an essential industry that has no regulation. Congress should determine fair prices for health services, set price caps, and establish accountability for the entire health service industry.
