Plains All American Pipeline must be investigated for noncompliance of the injunctive reliefs enforced by the EPA on August 10, 2010.
Plains All American Pipeline (PAAP or PAA) is still committing negligent and fraudulent activity over our borders, in Canada. Most recently, June 7, 2012, approximately 125,500 gallons of crude oil were leaked into the Red Deer River system in Alberta Canada. Thirteen months earlier, PAAP was responsible for 1.18 million gallons leaking through their Rainbow pipeline. Despite the EPA’s measures on August 10, 2010 of fining PAAP 41 million dollars for 10 oil spills totaling 2.73 million gallons from June 2004 and September 2007 and administering injunctive reliefs to prohibit future spills, PAAP has failed to maintain their pipelines.
