This petition is in response to the november ballot initiatives regarding same sex marriage. It is widely known that the catholic church is an extremely large contributer to the National organization for marriage and as such has wrongfully entered the realm of becoming involved in domestic policies and politics. The catholic church may practice what they like within their organization but to force those views on others through political influence is unjust and a direct violation of federal law.
