Request for the House Armed Services Commitee and President B. Obama investigate possible cases of fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement with the F-35/Joint Strike Fighter program. The program has consistently failed to meet production and service deadlines and is a textbook example of "too much, too fast". Reassessing the need for an aircraft that is "multi-role" as opposed to dedicated and proven platforms such as the F/A-18 A/B/C/D/F, A-10, EA-18G, and F-16. The projected cost overruns are set to proceed on into the trillions of dollars. Considering that deadlines have come and gone, countless setbacks and production issues now would be the time to cancel the program outright or at the very least seek alternatives.
