This petition is requesting that the Justice Department investigate hospitals and all medical related companies and the pricing of their services and materials for the consumer, as described in Stephen Brill's report in February 20, 2013 issue of Time Magazine.
The mark up for costs to patients is destroying the economy of the U.S., and althought the ACA has addressed the ability for the patient to get insurance so that they can be provided with basic health care, it does not go far enough to rein in the cost of health care.
