Investigate & publish correlations between decline in jobs and income equality with workers' rights and representation.

Created by J.D. on October 29, 2011

I applaud the efforts of the CBO on the honesty of their nonpartisan report which was recently released. I also only hear about people talking about jobs lost due to technology and outsourcing. What is not being investigated or discussed is the decline of workers rights and ability to have an organized voice which brought about a strong middle class, income equality, and strong GDP growth. I believe we could gain further insight with a similar study on: jobs lost due to layoffs vs increased hours worked by the average worker (i.e. dispose of a portion of the workforce and place the burden on the remaining workers), single income vs dual income households in relation to standard of living, decline in workers' benefits, etc. If you believe that this should be investigated, please forward on.
