Cruise ships can be very fun if kept safe, but let's face it: thousands of civilians in a floating death-trap miles from land is a terrible idea. We've all seen the news about the Costa Concordia disaster and the more recent Norovirus outbreak. On top of that, there have also been outbreaks of Legionnaire's disease and Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC), not to mention that the ships are unsafely designed in the name of profit, susceptible to pirate attacks, and managed by irresponsible cowards. Furthermore, these vessels harm our environment with solid, liquid and gaseous waste. These "luxury" cruises may seem like a fun family vacation, but I assure you, Mr. President, they're not. So let's thoroughly investigate them, and tell these crooks to shape up or ship out!
