Investigate the similarities and differences between the voting public and their representatives

Created by E.S. on February 02, 2014

The United States of America was founded on the belief that every citizen has an equal voice. But, it seems to have gotten away from that in the past 200 years because not every citizen was able to vote on every issue due to distance and the lack of immediate communication devices such as the internet and cell phones. So, I say let’s start a bi-partisan website which simply (and I mean SIMPLY – not “lawyer talk”) states the votes coming before congress that week. And let’s let each individual person have the opportunity to cast their vote via secure internet connections. So that way, we can determine whether our elected representatives are serving their own interests; or ours.
