The state of Missouri is currently in an epidemic where it is taking 90+ days to process and complete Snap, Medicaid and TANF applications as these applications (thousands and thousands of theme) keep getting denied stating they have not received the required documentation.
The fact is that the documentation in many thousands of these cases was received the same day the application was submitted but the state failed to scan that documentation into the system before another worker who was processing the application attempted to process it and was forced to deny it because the documentation has yet to be scanned into the system.
This causes those applying to need to reapply and resubmit the already submitted documentation (which still sitting in a box waiting to be scanned into the system)
