In August, 2011, a 16-year-old girl from a small town "across the river" was brought or came of her own volition, to the town of Steubenville, OH. After being served copious amounts of alcohol, she became intoxicated and members of the Steubenville High School Football team took charge - A group of "athletes" (with the name "The Rape Crew") abused and raped the girl. Subsequently, the actions became the topic of Twitter & media sites-pictures and videos of the girl were posted as well as videos of these "athletes" bragging about their acts were circulated
The officials of the town have obstructed investigation & protected the perpetrators-Corruption appears to be rampant. This girl will never get justice unless the matter is removed from local authorities. We need the DOJ to step in
