Investigate Texas Attorney General Greg Abbot for corruption and official misconduct.

Created by D.B. on July 13, 2014

In 2013, a fertilizer plant exploded in western Texas, killing 15 people and leveling the surrounding town. Shortly after this, persons connected with Koch Industries, who own many fertilizer plants in Texas, made significant campaign contributions to Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott. Following receiving this payment, Abbott actually loosened the regulatory framework on such plants, making it possible for Koch Industries to operate their plants without the increased scrutiny that should have been inevitable following this incident.

Please direct Attorney General Holder to name a special prosecutor in this matter, and to instruct that prosecutor to follow this case wherever it may lead.
