This petition ask the President to use his executive authority to investigate through the Justice Department and the FBI Governor Rick Snyder and his administration to discover whether crimes were committed in what appears to be a deliberate cover-up that enabled the ongoing poisoning of the people of Flint Michigan, placing a priority of revenue over the lives of citizens. Forcing poisoned drinking water on a city population is a heinous act that deserves federal involvement to ensure that such actions do not go without severe accountability and consequence. It should in no way be legitimate that a governor or any of his appointees should be granted any form of immunity from prosecution when such an act occurs; No person should be above the law.
