In Feb of 2009 Ticketmaster and Live Nation merged creating a Monopoly and unfair business practices.
Ticketmaster is often the only way to receive tickets for concerts and other events. The surcharges and other misc charges often increase the price by 50%. An example of their unfair business practices is charging consumers to print tickets at home. If a customers is using their own paper and ink to print the ticket, home can they be charged for that?
Due to contracts that Ticketmaster has with many venues, they is no alternative but to use Ticketmaster.
