Ticketmaster claims to have processes in place to prevent scalpers yet popular events sell out to scalpers nearly instantly and then tickets are available at stubhub for much higher prices. An example that proves that Ticketmaster is failing is the Great American Beer Festival. There was supposedly a 4 ticket limit per session and 4 sessions in total. Yet scalpers on stubhub have more than 16 tickets available, if Ticketmaster was doing their duty how would this happen? Ticketmaster is not serving the public interest in distributing tickets to event and is feeding a secondary market which is hurting the 99%.
