Investigate the use of hemp as a drought resistant crop capable of providing a simultaneous source of Biofuel Food Fiber

Created by J.M. on November 09, 2012

I wish hemp be investigated for it's potential as a green energy source of Biofuels that does not compete with the national security concerns of food supplies as the extraction of oil from hemp seed produces nutritious flour fit for human consumption. I believe hemp's natural drought resistance and ability to be grown on substandard soils with little or no fertilizer and pesticide imputes will be of great value to American farmers and the hungry poor during climate change. The value presented by hemp fiber for use in paper, clothing, building materials, composite component manufacturer present a huge market for American and world consumers with the benefits of multi industrial job creation and growth. The service of natural carbon sequestration I believe to be four times greater than trees
