The San Salvador Consulate can take more than 4 months to issue a visa once an approval on the I-601 waiver for extreme hardship has been approved. This is not acceptable. Many of us have already been separated from our loved ones due to the lengthy legal immigration process and to have to wait more than 4 months after being approved to get a visa is inexcusable. Many other embassies issue visas within a months time. Therefore, Mr. President, we come to you asking that you to investigate why it takes the San Salvador, El Salvador Consulate months to issue a visa after approval. There are truly the only U.S. embassy that lags so much. We are asking for a solution to this problem.
