Investigate Voter Fraud and Voter Suppression, Across Multiple States, During the 2016 Democratic Primary

Millions of voters in multiple States who changed affiliation from Independent to Democrat, and long-registered Democrats who were told that they were being reported as “unaffiliated” or Republican were given provisional ballots which may not have been counted in the 2016 Democratic Primary. It is clear that there is an ongoing effort in several states to suppress Democratic and Independent voters. We call for a complete investigation into violations that occurred during the 2016 Democratic Primaries, and for a re-vote in any State that prevented registered voters from casting counted ballots, or prevented college students from voting with out-of-State licenses. We also call for an open or semi-closed primary voting process nationally in order to assure an equitable voting process for all.
