Senator Manchin is father to Mylan Pharmaceutical CEO Heather Bresch, whose company in 2007 raised the price of their Epi-pen from$57 a dose to $600 for two doses. Prior to her position as CEO she held other senior positions with Mylan. WV citizens have the right to know if there is a quid pro quo relationship between Manchin and Mylan, profiting the Senator and the Corporation at the expense of WV, and U.S., citizens.
Examples: 1. Does (or has) Manchin own Mylan stock? If so, did he increase his shares prior to the 2013 law and what is the value of the stock now (or when sold)? 2. Has Manchin advocated for a federal law? 3. Did the State of WV purchase the more-expensive Mylan product rather than a less-expensive brand? If both were purchased what is the ratio?
