On Friday, November 7th, 2014, Fort Lauderdale started a new Ordinance that limits the efforts to feed the homeless, and can have a person arrested for doing so with possible fines and jail time.
The Ordinance states:
-There can be only one "Feeding Center" every 500 feet
-There can be only one "Feeding Center" in every city block
-There can not be a "Feeding Center" 500 feet from any residential building.
This Ordinance seems like a violation of a person's basic constitutional rights, and should be investigated into it's potential legality.
