investigate whether Congressional signatories to the Norquist pledge have violated the law

Created by D.M. on December 07, 2012

We recommend that you direct the Attorney General to begin immediately a well-publicized investigation into whether the Norquist pledge signatories, depending on the individual case, (1) took the Oath of Office insincerely or with mental reservations, or (2) signed the Norquist pledge after taking the Oath of Office, thereby violating the latter; and to establish the legal bases for prosecuting and/or impeaching each Congressional Norquist pledge signatory. We believe these people are serving a narrowly defined, extra-Constitutional goal and should be removed from office.

A further aim of the investigation should be to determine whether Norquist himself, and those who fund his operation, may be guilty of treasonous acts in advocating the overthrow of representational democracy..
