So the federal government stepped in and ignored the CBA the NFL and NFLPA had in place so why not do an investigation of their own. There have been many claims by many teams that the Patriots cheat and do it regularly. A recent report stats that 19 out of the 32 NFL teams take precautions when playing the Patriots that they don't take against any other team. Fans pay to watch a clean game set on an even playing field and if the Patriots are in fact cheating that removes the even playing field and stacks the deck in their favor. This also could have cost people a lot of money when it comes to betting on the NFL. Too many former players and coaches have said it seemed like the Patriots knew exactly what was coming at them.
