Investigate Yelp.com for unscrupulous practices that are set in place to take advantage and to hurt small businesses.

Created by W.C. on February 19, 2013

For years Yelp.com has a policy in place where the company offers to remove a business's negative reviews, where users cannot easily view them, in exchange, for a often times substantial and lengthy monthly advertising fee. When owners decline, their positive reviews on Yelps website disappear without explanation.
These unscrupulous practices are in place to essentially hold consumer reviews hostage so that they may extort money from small businesses being reviewed. This practice only hurts small business do to the fact that users who do not know of Yelps policies believe that these businesses are bad bus in turn denying them of precious revenue that allows small businesses to flourish.
We request the US Government to take action against those who set out to hurt small businesses.
