Videos of beheadings and other gruesome executions are being uploaded on YouTube. The deliberation follows the surfacing of a video showing a woman being decapitated easily, which was shared on the social network in recent days, sparking public outcry.
I, a 16 year old girl, and others have viewed the video in horror on Facebook streamlining from YouTube. Children as young as 13 are allowed to sign up for Facebook accounts and can easily view. If these social networks allow children or any victims of violence can view these types of videos there should be warnings or social networks can prevent them from being uploaded. I can imagine if someone who have mental issues get a hold of one of these videos and copy cat the reality of it. They need to be removed immediately.
