Woman was tazed by police in Harris County, even while being in wheelchair. Video is circulating regarding the incident.
She was recording police treatment of her daughter being taken into custody and was violated for ensuring her daughter was safe.
Similar tactics used against Shaketha Holman have been used on other individuals with disabilities and/or of minority identify at elevated levels for the past 10 years.
Enforcement of human rights has been morally sidestepped by police, government officials and global corporations for some time and the human element needs to be considered when dealing with these matters, especially with what is currently happening in Standing Rock.
