The champion team in every major sport is invited to and honored by the White House. Flat track roller derby is the fastest growing sport in America and the world. Roller derby can be found all across America. It touches the lives of a lot of citizens and deserves the same recognition as other sports out there.
I petition and urge the administration to honor the current and future Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) and Men's Roller Derby Association (MRDA) champions.
The current champion league in WFTDA is the Gotham Girls Roller Derby of New York and the current MRDA champion league is Your Mom Men's Roller Derby from Des Moines, IA.
