Chance the Rapper is a native Chicagoan and White Sox fan (like the President). His music is soulful, uplifting, spiritual, & vibrant. Young Artists, particularly African-American artists from the violence torn Chicago, deserve recognition on the national political stage. Chancelor promotes peace and speaks against gun violence. Newszone wrote: " was instrumental in a social media campaign that led to a quieting of the escalating gun violence in the Windy City for 42 hours straight." He also helped organize a coats/sleeping bags for the homeless.
