On Veterans Day 2016 Ernest Walker had his free meal taken from him at Chili's Restaurant in Cedar Hill Texas by management because the manger didn't believed he served in the US Army. This was done despite Mr. Walker producing his military ID and discharge paperwork. Mr. Walker said the experience left him feeling “grossly offended, embarrassed, dehumanized.”
We would ask that President Obama invite Mr. Walker to the White House for dinner as a show of support for the humane and fair treatment of all veterans.
