invite legislation which will reform "At will employment" laws.

Created by J.S. on January 05, 2013

As there are many laws which protect the "protected" classes this creates a gap or failure in the system of "employment at will" which allows employers to terminate a non-protected classes without cause.

I hope to see a change in the "employment at will" laws the employers hide behind while terminating employees without cause knowing they will not have repercussions since the protected classes do not apply.

By not being discriminated against based on race, color, religion, National origin, age, sex, family status, disability status, veteran status or genetic information a company can terminate someone without warning or cause. Instead of singling out these groups I would like to see companies be held to a standard of documentation showing proof of violations and or dereliction.
