Invite Mexico to become part of the United States

We the people should ask the Mexican people if they would like to become part of the United States. I believe this would be a good idea for a few reasons. If they joined the United States the border and the border patrol would go from being large to very small. That would help both protecting drugs from getting in from South America better and lower the cost of a lot of people covering the border. Another good thing allowing them to join is more land. More land will open up more job opportunities. Besides a lot of Mexican’s try to come to the United States illegally just to have a future with an education and money to provide for their families, so why not help them by helping the United States as well.
