We petition the President to invite NRA leaders and creators of extreme gun violence media to witness the aftermath of mass murders by assault weapons from his vantage point.
Current NRA leaders have no personal experience with assault weapons crime and their organization may inhibit them from attaining it. It’s even less likely the creators of extreme gun violence media have it.
Inspire them to lead from experience on both sides, bestowing political capital among supporters and opponents alike.
The President must provide this tour because he can secure unprecedented access without over-politicizing the tragedy or interfering with its victims.
If they decline we must evaluate their ability to lead in absence of relevant experience.
