Invite average Americans to provide Congressional leaders and budget leaders to discuss fiscal recovery and responsibility. The simple fact is the American government needs revenue (taxes) in order to provide for people (defense, medical care, civil protections, etc) but we also need to control that spending. Is it possible that "Joe Shmo" has the answers and we need to accept that Congress is incapable of getting anything done before the 11th hour? Simple solution would be to invite people to meet with the President, the top four congressional leaders and their individual budget teams with 100 average Americans from across the political spectrum to provide ideas and fix the budget problems now rather than later. (By average American look at those making between $30K-$75K per year)
