Invite Russian President Vladimir Putin to speak before the American people.

Created by B.M. on November 01, 2015

Since the end of the Cold War, relations between the United States and Russia have been complicated. These two great societies who once worked together to defeat a fascist takeover of Europe turned on each other threatening each other's complete annihilation. The USSR eventually transformed into a more open Russia and the US experienced prosperity while also becoming entangled with events in the Middle East.

We once again face a common enemy that seeks to destroy our two cultures and their shared values. Challenges in Syria highlight the friction between our interests that overlap and those that don't. The citizens of both countries need to hear directly from our leaders how we will work together for our common good without the distortion of politicians and media in the way.
