We should add Scotland to the US to facilitate trade with Europe, give us permanent access to European military bases and deepen our political relationship with Europe.
Scotland can become a hub for US trade with Europe. Hopefully they can maintain "special European privileges" in trade matters
We would have unfettered access to conduct ourselves strategically, as we please, in Scotland and Scotland's waters. I believe this is invaluable in the current geopolitical situation. It's proactive
Europe and the US have their political differences and with a US state right off the western shore of the Continent we can hopefully come to more useful and proactive consensuses.
Trade, defense and foreign policy are important. We can capitalize on this. We should admit Scotland as the 51st state
