There was a time in the not-so-distant past when some of our political leaders did not have the best intentions of the people in mind. During that time a man rose up to challenge those very politicians and point out the error of their thinking and the inconsistency of their intentions. And despite certain less-than-neutral media organizations labeling that mans' attempt as a "bomb", many of us think he accomplish what he set out to do. That man was Stephen Colbert.
It is with this ideal in mind that we humbly request of the Obama administration to invite back this beacon of BS, this Cadillac of men, if you will, to speak at one of the upcoming White House Correspondents' Dinners. It would be a sign of strength in these trying days.
PS: If he's not available we'll take Jon Stewart.
