San Bernardino, California is currently experiencing an active shooter situation. A gentleman named Terry Pettit was just interviewed on live television and he described a text his daughter sent to him from inside the facility. My heart aches for Terry as he cries for his daughters safety, only knowing of her status from her last ambiguous text, even now fearing the worst. (2:54pm 12/02)
In light of world events, global terror, gun violence; we must stand together and say no more.
We are global citizens, and it is time to do something about senseless violence and terrorism.
This petition is to request an invitation to Terry Pettit (and hopefully his daughter) by the Obama Administration to be a guest of honor at the State of the Union Address.
